About Solitude Resort

While it may not boast unique features like its neighboring resorts, Park City and Deer Valley, Solitude's allure lies in its pristine slopes and extensive off-piste terrain, making it a hidden gem in the Salt Lake ski scene. Just a short drive from Salt Lake City, there's a charm to this place that's simply irresistible.

When the summer sun graces the mountain slopes, Solitude comes alive with a symphony of outdoor activities. Imagine yourself hiking through lush forests, mountain biking along scenic trails, or simply soaking in the awe-inspiring vistas of the surrounding wilderness. It's a playground for nature lovers and thrill-seekers alike, offering an escape from the everyday hustle and bustle.

But it's in the winter that Solitude truly shines; with over 1,200 acres of skiable terrain, there's no shortage of slopes to explore. Whether you're carving down groomed runs or tackling the challenging off-piste terrain, there's something for riders of all levels. And let's not forget about the powder; it's what dreams are made of, drawing skiers and snowboarders from far and wide to experience its legendary depths.

Thanks to a network of lifts that whisk you away to different parts of the mountain, it's easy to make your way around the mountain. From the Eagle Express to the Summit Express, each lift offers its own unique adventure, whether you're seeking groomed black runs or steep, untouched terrain. Powderhorn II, though slower, provides access to steeper terrain like Milk Run and Here Be Dragons.

When it's time to unwind after a day on the slopes, Solitude's charming village awaits, offering cozy slopeside condos with plenty of family friendly amenities like the Eagle Springs Lodge East, Eagle Springs Lodge West, and Powderhorn Lodge, to luxury cottages such as Brighton Bonanza where you can be close to the ski resorts but away from the crowds. The village also boasts an array of dining choices, from casual eateries to fine dining restaurants, ensuring you're fueled up for all of your mountain adventures.

So, whether you're a seasoned skier looking for your next powder fix or a nature enthusiast craving the serenity of the mountains, Solitude Mountain Resort has something for everyone. It's a hidden gem just waiting to be discovered, offering a blend of adventure, tranquility, and unforgettable experiences that will leave you yearning for more.
