Snowmass is a great family friendly resort that offers lots of terrain for all levels of skiers. I stayed in the Crestwood Condos, which has easily ski in/ski out access and is only a 5 minute walk to the base village. Snowmass has a wide variety of lodging, shopping, and dining options, as well as a fantastic ski school. I recommend this ski resort and will be going back again with my family!

Where to start with Aspen and Snowmass. This resort literally has a little bit of everything for everyone. I stayed in Aspen with a colleague and really enjoyed how close everything is. We stayed at a property that was roughly a 10 minute walk to town and lifts but with the property shuttle system and the Aspen transit it was so easy to get around. Lots of beautiful shops from thrift stores to Gucci and more! A huge selection of dining but definitely more on the pricier side. The ski access in Aspen would be considered for intermediate and up but I would also recommend taking the gondola up just to experience the views from the top of Aspen mountain.

If you are traveling with your family or young children then Snowmass would be my recommendation. They have an amazing kids center called Treehouse that offers daycare. Several fun activities from tubing to an alpine coaster and a good portion of properties that are true ski-in/ski-out that can easily be done with little ones down to the base. There is also a variety of pricing on lodging and the majority of properties are condo style with kitchens.

Last but not least with 4 mountains to offer all included on your one pass, there is bound to be some terrain for just about everyone and hard to explore it all in one trip which will make you want to come back. I would highly recommend booking one of their Ski & Snowboard Pros if you can. Whether it be for beginner lessons or to just have someone guide you around the mountain. And if you rent your equipment from Aspen Snowmass, you can literally drop your equipment off at the base and request they have it delivered to any other base and it will be there the next day making your trip effortless. I would highly recommend checking these mountains out. You won't regret it. And who knows, you may just come across a pro athlete on the slopes as they are known to ride here. ;)
