With an average annual snowfall of 400 inches, visitors are sure to find ideal conditions for an extended ski season, often lasting through July. Driving directions: From Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO), 46.6 miles, 50 minutes Get on I-580 N. Follow I-80 W to CA-89 S in Truckee. Take exit 185 from I-80 W. Continue on CA-89 S for about 9 miles then turn right onto Olympic Valley Rd.
From Sacramento International Airport (SMF), 114 miles, 2 hours Get on I-5 S from Airport Blvd. Follow I-80 E to CA-89 S in Truckee. Take exit 185 from I-80 E. Continue on CA-89 S for about 9 miles then turn right onto Olympic Valley Rd.
