About Deer Valley Resort

Deer Valley Resort revolutionized the ski industry over 35 years ago by being the first North American resort to provide the first-class service one would find at a five-star hotel. Deer Valley features luxurious amenities such as uniformed ski valets, complimentary Mountain Host tours and overnight ski storage, parking lot shuttles, groomed-to-perfection slopes, limited lift ticket sales, and gourmet dining in three elegant day lodges. Deer Valley appeals to the ski community due to it being one of three resorts in the nation that is ski only and has been since opening in 1981. Guests on alpine, telemark, or monoski equipment with feet placed side by side and facing forward are allowed. Snowboards and carving boards are restricted from use. Reasonable accommodations for adaptive ski devices will be made; however, the equipment must be in accordance with the resort's ski-only policy.

Deer Valley also provides customized lodging with resort-managed properties, an award-winning ski school, convenient access via interstate highways, an on-site, state-licensed childcare facility, and the bounty of 300 annual inches of powder snow backed by state-of-the-art snowmaking, offering guests a complete vacation experience. Deer Valley Resort is famous for its immaculately groomed terrain, making the resort a paradise for beginner and intermediate skiers, but there are plenty of challenging expert trails for advanced skiers as well!

If you are wondering if you should rent a car, you can; however, you may not find it necessary. There are several lodging options that offer complimentary in-town transportation and on-call shuttle service for their guests. There is also an extensive free transit system that will shuttle you around most of Deer Valley and Park City. Click here to view routes and schedules. Ride-share options and cabs are also available. During the summer months, Park City also has a number of e-bike stations conveniently located around town!

Your mountain getaway is just a quick and convenient journey away. Start your vacation planning  here.
