About Big White Mountain

As the third-largest resort in British Columbia, it's no surprise that Big White Mountain draws a solid following among both locals and destination skiers alike. With its lofty altitude and abundant snowfall, this resort is a favorite for powder hounds and thrill-seekers seeking their next alpine fix. With its towering peaks, powdery slopes, and charming village atmosphere, Big White Mountain is the ultimate destination for snow-capped escapades and mountain memories.

Imagine yourself carving through fluffy powder beneath a canopy of snow-laden trees or cruising down wide-open trails with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. With 1,600 acres of skiable terrain and 119 runs, there's something for everyone, whether you're a seasoned pro or hitting the slopes for the first time. And let's not forget about those famous snow ghosts—eerie yet enchanting, they add a touch of magic to every run.

But Big White Mountain isn't just about skiing and snowboarding; it's a winter wonderland full of surprises. From tubing and ice skating to snowshoeing and Nordic skiing, there's no shortage of activities to keep you entertained both on and off the slopes. And when you're ready to refuel, the village offers a tantalizing array of dining options, from hearty pub fare to gourmet cuisine, ensuring you stay fueled up for all your mountain adventures. Plus, with live entertainment and après-ski festivities aplenty, the fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down.

And the fun doesn't stop when the snow melts. In the summer months, Big White Mountain becomes a lush paradise, inviting visitors to explore its scenic trails, take in the stunning views from the chairlift, and indulge in a host of outdoor activities. Whether you're hiking through wildflower meadows, mountain biking along rugged trails, or simply soaking up the sunshine on a patio with a cold drink in hand, Big White Mountain offers endless opportunities for adventure and relaxation.

There are a range of accommodations to choose from on the mountain. Many are conveniently situated for ski-in/ski-out access, such as Southpoint, located near the base of the Happy Valley Gondola; Bears Paw, which offers two-level luxury townhouse-style condominiums; and Stonegate Resort, which has spacious 1 to 4 bedroom vacation residences, sophisticated on-site amenities, a heated indoor/outdoor pool, whirlpools, heated underground parking, and indoor ski/snowboard storage. Trappers Crossing, with its modern-style multi-level condominiums, offers the best of both worlds: convenient access near the Perfection Run as well as easy access to the village centre just across the road.

So whether you're seeking adrenaline-pumping thrills on the slopes or a serene escape amidst nature's beauty, Big White Mountain has it all. Come experience the magic of the mountains and create memories that will last a lifetime.
