Ski and Snowboard Rentals FAQ
If you’re traveling from afar, renting equipment can make the journey significantly more enjoyable.
If you really prefer your own gear, most airlines are equipped to handle snow sport equipment for an extra fee.
Available inventory and brands will vary between resorts, and we strongly recommend booking equipment in advance so you can plan and pack accordingly. Most resorts offer the following items for rent:
- Beginner skis and snowboards (these tend to be shorter and softer)
- Intermediate and high-performance skis and snowboards (these tend to be stiffer and longer)
- Jackets, snow pants, ski and snowboard boots, helmets, goggles, hats and gloves
Some rental companies will deliver equipment to your vacation property, and collect it upon your departure. Others require you to pick up gear directly from the rental shop, which will be centrally located in the resort village. Your Travel Consultant will have all the details on the rental shop at your destination.
Some rental companies include flex days with your rental while others will require equipment to be returned in between to avoid paying for unused days.
Absolutely! Many guests will grab a pair of fat skis on a big powder day or even change out their skis for a snowboard.
