The unit had a double-sided fireplace (bedroom/living room), a full kitchen, large bathroom and space to store my skis and gear. The view was just into some trees, but the complex is made up of several buildings, so other units may have had better views.
Amenity-wise, Mountain Lodge has a lot to offer. The pool/hot tub area is beautiful, with great views of the mountains and the gondola, which passes by the resort. There is also a fitness facility, sauna and steam room which, unfortunately, I didn't have an opportunity to use. The on-site restaurant is terrific and the shuttle service to/from the main village area is quick and convenient.
The ski-in/out access is located at the northwest end of the property, so while their cabins are truly ski-in/out, it is about a 200 meter walk from the southeastern-most building where I stayed. Not a big deal for me, but if you are lugging your kids and their ski gear, you may want to request a room in one of the buildings closer to the access point.
It has great amenities on site, including a restaurant, a pool and hot tubs.
The property has their own private shuttle that will take you where you need to go in the village.

It's an easy uphill walk to the Gondola that will take you to the Mountain core village, or transfer over to the next Gondola to get into the town of Telluride.
The check-in process was great. I found the front desk to be very kind and welcoming.
Our rooms look exactly as seen online. My bed was super comfy and I loved that myself and the person I was traveling with had our own ensuites. So handy! I did find the living space to be a bit small. I would not suggest putting too many family members in this unit, even if bedding allows it. There really isn't much space to entertain.
I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of getting to and from the village. The gondola is a short walk up the hill and the shuttle service never had me wait more than five minutes.
We ate in the restaurant. I did find the service to be a bit slow but the food was excellent and made up for the wait.
The ski access is superb and most definitely the best part of this property.
