Axtell Apartment 421 is a two bedroom well equipped apartment on 2 levels. The apartment is in very good condition, is warm and clean, and has good views over the valley. Axtell is located right next to the main express lifts, and is a one minute walk. 421 faces away from the slopes which is an advantage as the front apartments experience noise from groomers and early morning lift setting up. It doesn't have covered parking however the permit system for the adjacent car park worked well. The only disadvantage of this apartment is the three floors you have to walk up fro the car park, and two floors from the skiing level. Building has no elevator.

An older condo, with a bit of sprucing up, but very small, and on 3 separate levels. This unit is not accessible from the parking lot, requiring much walking and climbing of stairs to reach it. The building has no elevator. It's access from the slopes is exceptionally good. But once in the unit, the 3 floors are again a chore to access by more stairs. Surprisingly, the fireplace has been condemned and is not usable. For the price and availability at the last minute, we were satisfied.

You couldn't be more centrally located - lifts, shops, restaurants, ski school, children's centre, and more. In the summer, you can step out your door at Axtel Condominiums and get right on the hiking and biking trails, or ride the lift up the mountain for a picnic - with your mountain bike if you'd like! Axtel Condominiums is located at the base of the Silver Queen Lift.
