At the foot of Andesite and Flat Iron Mountains, Lone Moose Meadows units are slopeside to Lone Moose Triple Chair and the Middle Fork cross-country trail. A vehicle is required for transportation to Big Sky's village, as Lone Moose Meadows is approximately 2 miles from the core base area. 4-wheel drive is necessary during winter.
